Kingsley Moghalu is Professor of Practice in International Business and Public Policy and Senior Fellow in the Council on Emerging Market Enterprises at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Massachusetts. He is also the Founder and CEO of Sogato Strategies, a global risk and strategy advisory firm. Prof. Moghalu served as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria from 2009 to 2014, and previously held senior management posts in the United Nations System, where he served for 17 years.
Prof. Moghalu is the author of several books including the critically acclaimed Emerging Africa: How the Global Economy’s ‘Last Frontier’ Can Prosper and Matter (Penguin, 2014) and two forthcoming books on global banking reform and on central banks to be published by Stanford University Press in 2018, and is a frequent commentator in global media including CNN and The Financial Times.
He obtained his Ph.D. in International Relations at the London School of Economics, an M.A. at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and the LL.B. degree from the University of Nigeria.
